Harry Kearney : Exceptionally fast human being.

If it wasn’t enough to have already won the Dirksen Derby this season (watch the rad video below), Harry Kearney just upped the ante for the season and won the toughest of the tough, the one, the only – Legendary Baker Banked Slalom.

Harry was up against some of the best in professional snowboarding – Gigi Rüf, Josh Dirksen, Temple Cummins, Terje, Lucas Debari and Scotty Wittlake to name just a wee bit of the talent.

Harry’s time of 1:43.35 would place him in the winner’s circle.

Here he is post comp with his bro Hagen and Rob Kingwill who got 2nd in the fakie race to none other than Terje and designed this year’s contest poster. Congrats, Harry! Keep sliding sideways fast. Real damn fast.

Search For A Cool Place.

With the lifts about to fire up from North Korea to North Carolina (A Basin and the Palmer Snowfield are open!) we decided to stoke the fire with some radness. First up, from the Pacific Northwest is “Search for a cool place” with Mark Landvik, Patrick McCarthy, Ryland Bell, and our boy, Harry Kearney. Search for a Cool Place is an exploration of snowboarding, mind-expansion, adrenaline freaks, the trips they take and where they’ve ended up.

The uber radness from Washington state continues with the Go! Boarding crue. Harry Kearney links up with the boyz to get down and get radical. Winter is almost here. Let’s do this.

Kingwill and Kearney finish top 10 at Mt Baker Banked Slalom.

Congratulations to Compatriots Harry Kearney and Rob Kingwill for both finishing top 10 at the Mt Baker Legendary Banked Slalom. Not an easy feat duders. Killing it softly.

Fall Update : Harry Kearney

It’s been a long, hot summer, friends. But the end is near (grab a beer!). Winter will soon be here. Compatriot Harry Kearney has been maximizing the long days and getting ready for winter. He sent over this photo from Red Mountain Pass from this past spring and had this to say, “So the snow was horrendous at that time in spring, massive dry spell, so we were trying to get creative and went and shot at night. Everything about it was sketchy but the method felt right. Its up on Red Mountain Pass. Fun time. Its been a summer of Sabbath for me man!

Harry Kearney’s Top 3 Albums of Summer ’12:

1. Black Sabbath: Vol. 4
2. T.S.O.L: Change Today?
3. Pantera: The Great Southern Trendkill
If Pantera can’t alert the snow gods, than nothing will.

the season is not over with: harry kearney

Harry Kearney just in from the last month of getting buck in the white room and grocery shopping with the mini cart. Slushy snow and sun might be the call now or heading to Hawaii or Mexico to stick your feet in the sand. I think Harry will just be skateboarding and listening to metal. Probably the new High on Fire album. Harry, what’s the call?

Compatriot at Legendary Banked Slalom

Compatriots Rob Kingwill and Harry Kearney put in some impressive showings at the Legendary Banked Slalom at Mt Baker this past weekend. Congratulations to Rob for a coveted win in the fakie contest. Travis Rice came in 2nd and Harry Kearney got 3rd, so you know you done good when that’s your competition. In pro men’s, Rob finished in 8th place and Harry got 7th.
